Those of You Looking for Entertainment
LOOK NO FURTHER!!
I was watching a show on the Travel Channel. World's Creepiest Destinations... Check out this musiem that is in the US. It was first made only for medical research. But quickly became a place that people like us would travel to only to get a good scare, etc. Click here and see what I'm talking about.
One creepy place to visit is non-other than New Orleans. There your find many museums that are dedicated to Voodoo or other types of weird religions. This site shows all the museums in New Orleans. And man is there a lot of them. It reminds me of my current favorite movie "Skeleton Key".

That brings us to the Salem witchcraft trials in the 1600's. Over two dozen people were exacuted during this mass hysteria. Everyone has heard of the Salem witch trials. This site is pretty good. It goes into detail about the trials and the people who fell prey to people who where, I believe, had the devil in them. Click here to go to this site. And yes, it's worth another click of the mouse.

A drawing of one of the accused being sentenced to death. The time of the photograph is around 1692 when the Salem witch trials happened.
The following is a document written by an anonymous person describing the death of one wrongly accused man. His endurance through the execution is what gave him the name "The Man of Iron".
THE MAN OF IRON
Giles Corey was a wizard strong, a stubborn wretch was he;
And fit was he to hang on high upon the locust tree.
So, when before the Magistrates for trial he did come,
He would no true confession make, but was completely dumb.
"Giles Corey," said the Magistrate, "What hast thou here to plead
To those who now accuse thy sould of crime and horrid deed?"
Giles Corey he said not a word, no single word spoke he.
"Giles Corey," said the Magistrate, "We'll press it out of thee."
They got them then a heavy beam, then laid it on his breast;
They loaded it with heavy stones, and hard upon him pressed.
"More weight," now said this wretched man. "More weight!" again he cried;
And he did no confession make, but wickedly he died.

That takes us to the number one creepiest destinations. It's located in Fall River, Massachusetts. It's a small rural town were a murder took place in 1892. Here is a clipping from the website you can visit yourself.
The Fall River Historical Society has cleverly loaded most of the Lizzie Borden memorabilia at the end of a two hour tour of local history and period furniture. Of course, it may help you understand how people can be driven to kill...
The kitchen houses the hip bath, which originally contained all the good Lizzie artifacts donated to the Society: the Marseilles spread and pillow shams spotted with drops of blood, locks of the victims' hair, two paper tags neatly labeled "Mr. Borden's stomach" and "Mrs. Borden's stomach," and other stuff you'll get to see "later."

The Discovery Channel put this program on. Click here to see when it might come on again.
That's it. Just thought I'd give everyone something to read about other than "The Kristy-Brian-Daytona Show".
Love ya'll!!
